The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra will continue to spotlight our "local gems", this time featuring well-known orthopedic surgeon and consummate pianist Dr. Matthew Malerich — as well as rising star, Bakersfield Youth Symphony violinist Brian Shih. After a gorgeous opening piece by contemporary composer William Grant Still, Maestro Stilian Kirov will take us on a journey through the enchanting music of Mozart.
