What is one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring musician? 

“Never give up. Hard work does eventually pay off.”

What do you enjoy most about playing with the BSO? 

“The quality of the musicianship and the pride in our product.”

Why do you believe in the importance of music education?

“The experience of studying and playing music touches on a level of being human that transcends the negative forces in our world and our culture that threaten our wellbeing. Learning music requires skills that translate to any other profession and are highly marketable, such as discipline, persistence, resilience, and collaboration.”
