How old were you when you started playing your instrument?

“I started playing cello at age 10 in 5th grade.”

What is your favorite music to listen to? 

“My favorite artist is Lady Gaga, but I also enjoy country music, and acoustic folk.”

Besides the Bakersfield Symphony, what else do you do for a living? 

“I teach middle school orchestra at Stiern Middle School ”

What is one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring musician? 

“My advice is to work hard and always keep your love of music alive. ”

What do you enjoy most about playing with the BSO? 

“I enjoy playing with the BSO because I love performing great music with great musicians, and love performing for friends, family, and my community”
