Kendra earned her BA in Music Education and was most recently an elementary school music teacher, with experience in both rural and metro-Bakersfield school districts.  She is also a member and former board member of the Kern County Music Educators Association. 

Kendra produces learning materials for our education programs and leads the BSO Next pre-concert lectures for students. Kendra has worked to create a more streamlined experience for teachers who are utilizing the Symphony’s programs and has broadened the education offerings of the Symphony by creating interactive lesson plans, videos and materials to accompany and enhance the concert attendance.
