What is your favorite music to listen to? 

“Currently one of my favorite artists is Jacob Collier. He combines so many different genres of music together and it's absolutely fascinating to listen to. I was fortunate to hear him live once at the Segerstrom Hall in Costa Mesa.”

Besides the Bakersfield Symphony, what else do you do for a living?

“I am an instrumental music teacher in the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District.”

What is one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring musician? 

“Allow yourself to be curious of the world around you! The more you learn about the world and people in it, the richer your music becomes.”
