“All kinds of jazz, especially Latin Jazz”
Besides the Bakersfield Symphony, what else do you do for a living?
“I am currently a graduate student at USC studying clarinet performance. I also work at RDG Woodwinds, a woodwind supply and repair shop, as well as teach my own private students.”
What do you look forward to playing with BSO?
“I look forward to playing the exciting music of future programs and making friends with the musicians of BSO!”
Why do you believe in the importance of music education?
“Guiding the younger generations to have a great love and understanding of music will foster the creativity that is essential to the music art form. The music world is always changing and evolving and it thrives on the new ideas of young musicians.”
